Ex-Prez Bolsonaro part of coup plan to kill Prez Lula, overturn poll results: Brazil Police

Brazil Police on Thursday accused former President Jair Bolsonaro and 36 other people of attempting a coup to keep him in office after his defeat in the 2022 elections. Police said Bolsonaro had "full knowledge" of the 2022 plot to kill his successor Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Bolsonaro's supporters had rioted in capital Brasilia after 2022 election results.
