Ex-RG Kar principal gave college's contracts to cartel, got ₹70 lakh bribe: Report
Ex-principal of Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College, Sandip Ghosh, allegedly accepted ₹70 lakh in bribes by awarding all college contracts to a cartel of firms run by two individuals, HT reported, citing officers familiar with ED chargesheet. He allegedly took 10-15% commission on contracts worth about ₹6.89 crore. The money laundering probe began after the 2024 rape and murder case.
