Ex-RG Kar principal moves SC, says HC 'linked corruption to rape'

Sandip Ghosh, ex-principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, moved the Supreme Court (SC) against Calcutta HC's order transferring investigation into the corruption case against him to CBI. Ghosh contends that the HC 'unnecessarily' linked the incident of a 31-year-old trainee doctor's rape in the hospital to corruption charges against him. West Bengal Health Department has suspended Ghosh.
