Ex-South Korean Prez Yoon Suk Yeol indicted for abuse of power

Ex-South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has been indicted for abuse of power over his martial law declaration in December 2024, said prosecutors. The country's Constitutional Court stripped Yoon of all power and privileges in April and also upheld a parliamentary motion to impeach him. Yoon is already on trial for orchestrating an insurrection by deploying soldiers to the parliament.
