Ex-teleprompter operator who earned ₹1 crore by betting on Trump's speeches fined ₹1.6 crore

Former White House teleprompter operator Gabriel Perez who earned over ₹1 crore by placing bets on specific words and phrases that US President Donald Trump used in his speeches, has been fined. Perez has been ordered to surrender profits of $107,539.02 (over ₹1 crore) and pay a civil penalty of $65,000 (over ₹62 lakh).
