Ex-Trump aide John Bolton pleads guilty to mishandling classified information

John Bolton, an ex-security advisor and now a critic of US President Donald Trump, pleaded guilty to mishandling classified security information. He was accused of mentioning sensitive information in his 2020 memoir, 'The Room Where It Happened'. Bolton faces a prison sentence of up to five years and has agreed to pay $2.25 million (₹21 crore) in fines, prosecutors said.
