Ex-UK Minister Streeting says he'll stand to replace PM Starmer

Former UK Health Minister, ​Wes Streeting, who recently resigned over loss of confidence in PM Keir Starmer's leadership, has confirmed that he would challenge ​him in any ⁠leadership contest ​held. "We need a proper contest with the best candidates on the field, and I'll be standing," he said. Several Labour Party MPs have resigned and are calling for Starmer's stepdown.
