Ex-Union Minister KP Unnikrishnan passes away at 89

Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader KP Unnikrishnan passed away at the age of 89 in Kozhikode on Tuesday. He had been undergoing treatment for age-related ailments and is survived by his wife Amrita and two daughters. Unnikrishnan served as Union Minister for Telecommunications, Shipping, and Surface Transport in former PM VP Singh's cabinet from 1989 to 1990.
