Ex-Autonomy CFO charged for fraud in $11bn acquisition by HP
The former Chief Financial Officer of UK-based software firm Autonomy, Sushovan Hussain, has been indicted for allegedly defrauding investors and Hewlett-Packard about his firm’s performance before its $11 billion sale in 2011. Notably, the US government is seeking around $7.7 million from Hussain and the charges carry a combined maximum prison sentence of 20 years.
