Ex-Colombia Prez asks forgiveness for army's extrajudicial killings

Former Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, in a public testimony to Colombia's truth commission, asked for forgiveness for extrajudicial killings by the armed forces partly during his time as Defense Minister. At least 6,402 people were killed and falsely presented as rebels between 2002-2008, according to country's transitional justice court. Santos served as Defense Minister from 2006-2009.
