Ex-IAS officer Ramesh Abhishek who earned 119x his salary after retirement, raided by CBI

Former DPIIT Secretary Ramesh Abhishek was raided on Tuesday by CBI in a disproportionate assets case filed against him. The 1982-batch IAS officer allegedly earned 119 times his last-drawn salary within a short period after his retirement in 2019. His daughter Vaneesa Agrawal has also been booked for "receiving big amounts" from various organisations with whom Abhishek had dealings.
