Existing PAN cards will remain valid under PAN 2.0: Govt

The Ministry of Finance said existing PAN cards will remain valid under the new PAN 2.0 project. "The PAN card will not be changed unless the PAN holders want any updation/correction," it stated. It further said that the QR code feature has been incorporated in PAN cards since 2017-18 and will continue under the PAN 2.0 project with enhancements.
