Ex-Kerala CM Karunakaran's daughter Padmaja Venugopal joins BJP

Former Kerala CM K Karunakaran's daughter, Padmaja Venugopal, joined the BJP in New Delhi on Thursday, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Venugopal, who was previously a member of the Congress, had claimed that the party worked against her in the 2021 Kerala Assembly polls. Venugopal had previously served as the general secretary of the Congress' Kerala unit.
