Ex-Kosovo Prez Hashim Thaçi arrested, to face war crimes charges

Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi has been arrested and transferred to a detention centre in The Hague, hours after resigning to face war crimes charges. In July, prosecutors had accused Thaçi of being responsible for nearly 100 murders during Kosovo's 1998-99 independence war against Serbia. Thaçi had served as a commander of Kosovo Liberation Army guerrilla group during the war.
