Ex-Man Utd player Scholes appointed manager of Oldham Athletic

Former Manchester United player Paul Scholes has been appointed as the manager of Oldham Athletic, the club announced on Monday. This is the 44-year-old's first managerial job and he has signed a contract for one and a half years. Oldham are placed 14th in the League Two, which is the fourth tier competition in English football.
