Ex-Mumbai Police chief declared proclaimed offender in extortion case

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh was on Wednesday declared proclaimed offender over an extortion case. "If he (former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh) doesn't come before the law within 30 days, Mumbai Police will initiate the process for attachment of his properties," said Special Public Prosecutor Shekhar Jagtap. Two others were also declared proclaimed offenders.
