Ex-Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn gave himself $8 mn salary, bonus: Legal teams
Former Chairman of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance Carlos Ghosn gave himself an $8 million salary and bonus despite agreeing to cut his wages, the companies' legal teams said. Ghosn gave himself the compensation using the joint venture between Nissan and Mitsubishi. He was arrested in Japan in 2018 over alleged financial misconduct but fled to Lebanon in December 2019 while awaiting trial.
