Expanding Delhi sewage system crucial to clean Yamuna: Jal Board

The Delhi Jal Board has said that expanding the sewage system in the city is crucial to cleaning the Yamuna. The Delhi government had announced that it would clean the river by 2025 and the Jal Board has constructed 24 weirs and check-dams on the Najafgarh drain as part of the project. The Board held a review meeting on Monday.
