Expats clash with Dutch riot police outside Turkish embassy
Around 1,000 Turkish expats clashed with riot police outside the Turkish consulate in Netherlands after two Turkish ministers were barred from speaking at a rally in the Netherlands. The police used batons and water cannons to disperse the crowd which threw bottles and stones. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan denounced the Dutch government as "Nazi remnants" for denying the rallies.
