Expert panel formed to fix Fazilka waterlogging crisis in Punjab

BJP Punjab chief Kewal Singh Dhillon welcomed the Centre's move to address waterlogging in Fazilka. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan formed a six-member ICAR-CSSRI expert committee to assess affected areas and recommend solutions. Farmers suffer heavy losses annually due to waterlogging, with recent rains damaging lakhs of quintals of stored paddy.
