Experts recommend GI-tagging for authentic Goan cashew brands

During the two-day Cashew Fest, industry experts stressed the importance of GI-tagging authentic Goan cashew. The fest was organised by the Goa Forest Development Corporation and they discussed the growing issue of fake and low-quality cashew flooding markets of Goa. They emphasised the urgent need to safeguard the integrity of the cashew industry and suggested GI tagging genuine cashew brands.
