Explosion during Chemistry board practical injures Class 12 students in Shimla

Four students of Class 12 sustained injuries in an explosion inside the Chemistry laboratory of government-run Maheshwari Devi Government Senior Secondary School in Shimla on Monday. The incident took place during the Class 12 Chemistry board practical exam. It is suspected that the explosion occurred as students wrongly combined magnesium nitrate and ferrous sulphate, the school principal said.
