Explosion in Philippines before President Marcos address to nation

A homemade bomb exploded near Philippines' Department of Justice headquarters on Monday, hours before President Ferdinand Marcos' annual State of the Nation Address. Police said another bomb was found outside the Philippine Senate after a few hours, and was safely neutralised. Authorities believe the two incidents may be connected and are investigating how the first bomb got through security.
