Explosion outside synagogue in Belgium’s Liege, probe launched

An explosion occurred in front of a synagogue in Liege, Belgium on Monday, blowing out the windows of the synagogue and buildings across the street. Authorities have cordoned off the area as counterterrorism police investigate the blast. Belgian Interior Minister Bernard Quintin condemned the incident as an "abject antisemitic act that directly targeted Belgium's Jewish community".
