Explosions linked to air defence systems reacting to Israel's efforts: Iran on attack

A military spokesperson told Iranian state TV that explosions heard in Tehran were linked "to air defence systems reacting to efforts by...Israel...to attack three locations outside the city of Tehran". Separately, the semi-official Iranian Fars news agency claimed that Israel had targeted several military bases in west and southwest of Tehran. Israel said it conducted "precise strikes" in Iran.
