Ex-Sri Lanka cricketer Sachithra Senanayake arrested for match-fixing

Former Sri Lanka cricketer Sachithra Senanayake has been arrested on charges of match-fixing. Senanayake is accused of trying to fix matches during the Lanka Premier League (LPL) in 2020. In August, the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court had imposed a travel ban on the 38-year-old after a probe was launched into match-fixing allegations.
