External lights to be turned off at 7 pm daily in Panchkula areas

Amid tensions with Pakistan, all external lights in places including markets, hotels, religious places, and streetlights in Panchkula will be switched off daily at 7 pm until further orders, according to an order of the District Magistrate. The order further stated that the internal lights shall also be switched off after the siren is alarmed.
