Ex-UDF district chairman Manjakadambil forms new party, joins NDA

Former Kottayam District Chairman of UDF Saji Manjakadambil on Friday, 19 April, formed a new political party and announced an alliance with the BJP-led NDA. He said the new party will be known as Kerala Congress-Democratic. He had resigned from the party earlier this month alleging mistreatment by a prominent MLA, Mons Joseph.
