Ex-US nurse pleads guilty to raping disabled woman, fathering child

A former nurse in the US has pleaded guilty to raping a disabled woman in 2018 at a long-term care facility where she later gave birth. Nathan Sutherland pleaded guilty to one count each of sexual assault and vulnerable adult abuse, a court official said. Sutherland was arrested in January 2019 after his DNA matched a sample from the newborn.
