Face masks to be scrapped from Scottish schools: Nicola Sturgeon

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon on Thursday said face masks will not be required for students and teachers inside secondary school classrooms from February 28, when schools reopen after their half-term break. Sturgeon said the rule change will "reduce barriers to communication in the classroom and reduce any well-being impacts which arise from the use of face coverings".
