Face of Pompeii man who died in volcanic eruption 2,000 years ago reconstructed via AI

Archaeologists and researchers have used AI for the first time to digitally reconstruct the face of a man killed in eruption of Mount Vesuvius that engulfed the ancient Roman city of Pompeii 2,000 years ago. The AI-generated image, released by Pompeii Archaeological Park on Monday, shows the man ducking for cover ​while holding a large bowl over his head.
