Facebook acquires virtual reality shooter game 'Onward' maker

Facebook has acquired Downpour Interactive, the developer of the virtual reality first-person shooter video game 'Onward'. Everyone from Downpour Interactive will move over to the Oculus Studios team "in some capacity", Facebook VP of AR/VR content Mike Verdu said. He also confirmed that Onward will still be supported on all of the platforms where it's currently available.
