Facebook banned from giving free food to staff in Silicon Valley

Social media giant Facebook has been banned from serving free food to employees at its new Mountain View campus in Silicon Valley. The city's rules bar companies from providing fully subsidised meals to employees in their campuses, but allows them to provide in-house food at 50% subsidy. However, companies can fully subsidise their food at restaurants open to the public.
