Facebook bans face mask ads to prevent exploitation amid coronavirus

Facebook announced it will temporarily ban commerce listings and advertisements for medical face masks to prevent people from getting exploited during the "public health emergency". Rob Leathern, Director of Product Management at Facebook, said the company is monitoring the situation "closely" and would "make necessary updates" to its policies. Instagram also announced a similar policy.
