Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that its 'Free Basics' service, which gives access to free internet, is now available across India for Reliance users. Over 80 apps and websites will now be available for free. Reliance Communications had launched this initiative in select areas in May. Previously known as 'Internet.org', this initiative drew criticism from supporters of net neutrality.
