Facebook questioned by US over lyrics of Taylor Swift's song

A US Senator had asked Facebook if Taylor Swift's cover of a song named 'September' qualified as "hate speech", a document has revealed. The Senator also asked if a statement reading "Taylor Swift needs her *** whooped" falls in the category. Facebook replied it defines hate speech as an attack on people based on characteristics including race and national origin.
