Facebook rolls out Reels API for sharing from third-party apps

Meta on Monday introduced the Facebook Reels API, allowing users to directly share Reels on Facebook pages from third-party apps using the 'Share to Reels' feature. "Many creators and brands rely on third-party tools when creating Facebook Reels and we want to enable simplicity," Meta stated. Notably, this API doesn't allow apps to post Reels to groups or individual users.
