Facebook, Snap showed interest in buying Tiktok rival Dubsmash: Report

Facebook and Snapchat parent Snap held talks to buy US-based video-sharing app Dubsmash, according to The Information. "We admire the team but aren't in active talks to acquire," a Snap spokesman said. The report claims that the talks are now off. The deal could have come at a time when Microsoft is negotiating the purchase of TikTok.
