Facebook to deploy tools made for 'at-risk' countries in US elections

Facebook is preparing for any conflicts that may arise around the US presidential election by deploying tools designed for "at-risk" countries, The Wall Street Journal reported. The tools are designed to slow the spread of viral content, control users' news feed and lower the threshold for potentially dangerous content. These tools have been previously used in Sri Lanka and Myanmar.
