Facebook to shut down its AR face-filtering selfie app MSQRD

Facebook will shut down MSQRD, its AR face-filtering app, this April, the company announced today. Facebook will remove the MSQRD app from both the Android and iOS app stores on April 13. "MSQRD was fundamental to building early momentum for AR and providing insights to build the platform Facebook has today," the app wrote on its Facebook page.
