Facebook, Twitter officials summoned by Parliamentary panel on Jan 21

The Parliamentary standing committee on information technology has summoned Facebook and Twitter officials over the misuse of social media on January 21. The committee will hear the officials' views on the subject of "safeguarding citizens' rights and prevention of misuse of social/online news media platforms". The meet will also emphasise on the security of women in the digital space.
