Facebook working on AI that can make closed eyes look open

Facebook is working on an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can edit photos to make closed eyes look open. The researchers trained the system with data showing the target person with their eyes open. Divided into two parts, one learns to recognise faces, and another part of the system repeatedly creates images based on the data of the first part.
