Fact Check: Boxer Imane Khelif not stripped of her Olympic gold

A fake post claiming Algerian boxer Imane Khelif was stripped of the Olympic gold medal and banned for life is circulating on social media. The International Olympic Committee (IOC), World Boxing Organisation (WBO) and Khelif's coach have separately rejected the fake claims, Reuters reported. Khelif had won a gold in the women’s welterweight category at the Paris Olympics in August.
