Fact check: Did Barack Obama bow to Iran’s leader Khamenei?

A viral image shows Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and former US President Barack Obama bowing, described as the absolute low point in American history. However DFRAC fact check found the image to be fake. The picture is manipulated, merging a 2005 AFP photo of Khamenei with a 2009 White House photo of Obama bending to a child.
