Fact check: Govt not giving away free health insurance to senior citizens aged 50–85

The government has clarified that the claim of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare providing free health insurance to senior citizens aged 50–85 years is fake. As per the claim, the Ministry has been providing the insurance since April. "The Ministry has made no such announcement," PIB Fact Check wrote on X.
