Fact Check: No govt scheme providing free 5-star ACs to people

A social media post claiming that the Centre's 'PM Modi AC Yojana 2025' scheme will provide free 5-star rated air conditioners to citizens is being circulated. The post also claims that 1.5 crore air conditioners are already prepared. The Press Information Bureau said that the claims are false and no such scheme has been announced by the Ministry of Power.
