Fact-Check: Rahul Gandhi did not ‘refuse’ gamosas in Assam

A misleading post claiming Congress leader Rahul Gandhi refused to wear the traditional Assamese 'gamosa' at the Silchar airport is viral on social media. The Quint's fact-checkers found that Gandhi accepted the gamosas given to him by people. There are several images of Gandhi wearing the traditional scarf. Assam’s Congress president Bhupen Borah also dismissed this claim.
