Fake aghori ‘hypnotizes’ jeweller, steals cash, gold in UP

A man dressed as an Aghori allegedly tricked a jeweller in Jhansi’s Mauranipur into handing over around 10 grams of gold and ₹50,000. The shopkeeper later claimed the man took another ₹17,000 in cash before leaving. CCTV captured the suspect inside the shop. The jeweller said he was hypnotised. Police are examining the claim.
