Fake blood plasma racket busted in Ahmedabad, 4 held

A massive blood plasma adulteration racket was busted in Ahmedabad's Changodar, leading to the arrest of four people. The accused allegedly stole genuine plasma from blood banks, mixed it with saline water and low-quality material, and supplied the contaminated stock to pharmaceutical companies. The Ahmedabad Rural Police seized 1,140 plasma units and equipment worth ₹12.06 lakh.
