Fake fire rumour led to passengers being run over by train in Maha, toll rises to 11

Pushpak Express passengers were run over by another train in Maharashtra's Jalgaon after jumping on tracks as rumours of a fire on the train spread panic, officials said. Smoke emanated from its wheels, and passengers pulled the emergency chain and jumped off. Karnataka Express, passing on parallel tracks at the time, crushed them. Eleven people are confirmed dead so far.
